I worked many years as an exercise physiologist and director of a few cardiac rehabilitation programs before getting my Chiropractic degree. One thing I learned quite fast during that time is that what I thought was common sense about health as well as heart health in particular, actually wasn"t so unusual.
Referrals - The saying didn"t occur as it goes, if it"s not recorded. Certainly you may have referred your patient for massage therapy, but where"s it in the SOAP note? You better be able to track a referral someplace if you are trying to get that massage visit paid. Insurance company denying the necessity of your care? Where is your documentation affecting your patient"s visit to the Orthopedic Surgeon whose recommendation was to continue with chiropractic care? You should be documenting all referrals to and from your practice. An auditor who finds none and looks through your notes doesn"t conclude that you don"t ever refer. He thinks that he has found a chiropractor who looks to see what other mistakes he can find and fails to record extensively.
I have been using this procedure now for quite a while, and I can tell you it works better than anything I have ever used. I consider myself pretty disciplined making frequent automatic withdrawals of income weekly has COMPELLED me to live on whatever amount is left over.
I do expect you get the opportunity to experience what I have from the practice. A deep sense of well being and peace along with my body"s health are some of what I have obtained.
You want to find insurance which will provide you with coverage on prescriptions, vision care, pregnancy, preventive care and mental health care. In the event you don"t mind being limited to a network picked by your supplier, then you can generally receive these benefits with a number of the HMO choices. Some areas aren"t accepting HMO for etc, dental, vision care, or Chiropractic services. Examine the policy to see what coverage you actually have and if physicians, dentist, etc in your place takes Medicaid or HMO plans.
I narrowed it down to a few firms. and truly. one stood out above the others, because. It CONTAINED prescription vision, and chiropractic gains. The others had either individual plans, or family plans, and.it didn"t even matter if the "home" was related at all, or not. But, like I mentioned before. I needed PROOF!
The office ought to be clutter-free, fresh and clean and also the decor reinforces your desired message. Marble countertops in the front office instead of Formica. Wood flooring and WOW! wallpapering. Chrome on gear and your adjusting tables should be sparking and rust-free!
Physicians that are oK, now it"s your decision. I understand some of you are saying "Ewwww, if I did any of these things, somebody might see me and say something." Exactly, that"s the point!
